ADVANCED GENE MAPPING COURSE
July 28-Aug 1, 2008

Each session will start with a theoretical introduction followed by practical exercises.  Instructors for the course are David Clayton, Heather Cordell, Christoph Lange, Suzanne Leal and Andreas Ziegler. On Tuesday evening after the course a social gathering will be held. 

The course is everyday from 9:00AM- 5:00PM .

Estimating sample size and Power analysis
Estimating empirical p-values (simulation and permutation tests), False Discovery Rate, Data Cleaning, Gene x Gene interaction.

THURSDAY - July 31, 2008

Instructor - Heather Cordell
Non-parametric linkage analysis of pedigree data and sib-pair data for qualitative and quantitative traits.
