Requirements: Scientific curiosity, some understanding of statistics (although this could be acquired on the job), sufficient English knowledge to hold conversations.

Main Research Interests

Developing new mathematical-statistical methods for human gene mapping (linkage mapping, disequilibrium analysis). Implementing these methods in computer programs.

To study interactions of multiple disease loci underlying complex traits, methods of pattern recognition and classification are investigated.

Statistical analysis of genome-wide case-control association data and of microarray data.

Collaborating with other researchers on the analysis of their genetic data.

Maintaining a web/ftp site for dissemination of information and computer programs.
